Day 4 of the Erasmus+ Project “Health4Youth – Sănătate pentru tinerime”

The fourth day of our Health4You(th) Project in Sfântu Gheorghe was a day of reflection, deep discussions, and meaningful learning. After several days filled with activities and movement, the morning offered a perfect opportunity for participants to look back and reflect on what they had experienced and learned so far.

During the morning reflection session, participants shared their thoughts, highlights, and personal takeaways from the previous days. It was inspiring to hear how everyone’s perspectives had evolved — from understanding the importance of healthy habits to appreciating teamwork and cultural exchange.

Throughout the day, participants took part in group activities and brainstorming sessions focused on the five pillars of health: nutrition, movement, sleep and rest, stress management, and mental health. These sessions encouraged lively conversations, creative thinking, and teamwork as the groups explored how each pillar plays an essential role in overall wellbeing.

One of the most powerful moments of the day was an activity about social inclusion. In this exercise, participants each received a paper describing a different life situation — such as a 27-year-old homeless person, an illegal immigrant, or a successful entrepreneur. They then reacted to a series of statements like “I can afford a holiday once a year.” By stepping forward or staying in place, participants could visually experience how privilege and social inequality affect people’s opportunities and wellbeing. The discussion that followed was both emotional and eye-opening, fostering empathy and awareness about the importance of inclusion in every aspect of health.

After a well-deserved lunch break, the group enjoyed a quick energizer, bringing back energy and smiles to the room. The afternoon continued with a short presentation on formal and non-formal education, highlighting the differences, benefits, and how both forms of learning can complement each other. Participants then worked in groups to share opinions, exchange ideas, and create short activities connected to these topics.

As usual, the day concluded with our group leader meeting, where team leaders gathered to discuss the day’s positive moments, challenges, and suggestions for improvement — ensuring that every day of the project keeps getting better.

Day 4 was all about understanding, empathy, and collaboration — key elements that help us grow not only as individuals but also as a community.
