Day 6 of the Health4Youth Project: Reflection, Future Plans, and Meaningful Goodbyes

As our time together in Sfântu Gheorghe slowly approached its end, Day 6 of the Health4Youth Project was dedicated to reflection, evaluation, and looking toward the future. After an intense and inspiring week filled with activities, workshops, and cultural exchanges, this day gave participants the chance to slow down, look back, and appreciate everything they had learned and experienced.

The morning began with a collective reflection session, where participants revisited the highlights of the previous days — from the sports activities and creative workshops to the school visit, city tour, and the unforgettable folk dance night. Through open discussions and small group talks, they shared what they had discovered about themselves, each other, and the importance of health, balance, and teamwork.

Later, the focus shifted toward the future. Participants were invited to think about how they can bring the lessons of Health4Youth back home, spreading awareness and inspiring others in their local communities. Using Padlet, they shared their ideas, future plans, and dissemination strategies, posting creative reflections on how they plan to promote the project, talk about their experience, and apply what they learned in their own environments.

The day continued with group activities designed to encourage innovation and collaboration. Each group was challenged to develop a new project idea, answering specific questions about goals, target groups, impact, and possible partners. The brainstorming sessions were full of creativity and enthusiasm — a clear sign that the Health4Youth experience had motivated many to stay active in the field of youth work and wellbeing.

After dinner, we gathered once again for a special evening moment — the Youthpass ceremony. Each participant received their certificate, recognizing the skills, knowledge, and experiences they gained throughout the project. The atmosphere was filled with emotion and gratitude as we celebrated the growth, friendships, and memories created during the past days.

The night ended with a gentle tone of pre-goodbyes, laughter, hugs, and shared stories — a heartfelt reminder of how a week of learning, openness, and cultural exchange can bring people from different countries together as one big family.

Day 6 beautifully summed up the spirit of Health4Youth: reflection, connection, and the commitment to continue making a positive impact — both personally and within our communities.
